If I just saw you standing still in a manly pose (not in your normal Sissy and Ada type stance!) then no. But if your reaction to the birthing video at uni is anything to go by then if I saw you playing rugby, getting tackled by some big mean bastard then the screams might give it away! x
But on a serious note, you’re completely right, it’s a load of wank (why aren’t I a political spokesperson with insightful comments like that?) x

I used to play for school many years ago. Too many years ago. I’ve also been asked to join a Tag rugby team but have said no at the moment.

But… you’ve seen me… be honest… and I mean really honest not my kind of honest… If I hadn’t spoke, moved or done anything, I’d just stood there in front of you would you know I was gay? And YES I’m dressed normally, not in my usually stillies with matching handbag and fascinator before you say anything!

Well said. As nice as the offer of a civil partnership is, all it does is separate us a little bit more from the rest of society. I genuinely do not understand why we can’t just have a civil wedding. What difference does it actually make to anyone outside the marriage?

There is nothing worse than people who criticise your opinion. It annoys the hell out of me afterall everyone is entitled to an opinion and should be allowed to express it anyway they should – one reason why I closed my twitter account really:)

I agree with most of your opinions stated above though, except two, purely because I have never seen Glee so can’t comment on it and wouldn’t, neither have I been interested in the Discworld novels so therefore cannot comment on that either lol:))

I have always thought that my opinion is right and also so is everyone else. I may think that everyone else is totally wrong but that is the entire point of opinions.

Only I know what makes good music, food and holidays for example. Just as YOU know that I am wrong and only you know…blah blah blah.

Evelyn Beatrice Hall is the person behind that quote, which I’ve used many times. It’s often attributed to Voltaire because she wrote it in her biography of him. It was an attempt to sum up his attitude but people got the wrong end of the stick and thought it was a direct quotation.

It’s strange – I’m a bit at the stage where I don’t really see the distinction between friends I have met and friends I haven’t any more until people say ‘Oh, how do you know such-and-such?’ or similar, when I find myself having to decide whether to tell them that we met online…

And yet, if someone tells me about a date that they met on the internet or similar, I still sometimes catch myself thinking ‘Oooh – axe murderer…’

I totally agree with you! Facebook, Twitter etc do bring people way closer. I find something like Facebook is great as people you havent met up with in a long time still know what is going on in your life (due to posting/pictures etc). It also can work the other way too, where you are friends with someone cause you have to be, then you have to be careful about what you post… Swings and roundabouts I suppose!

I find Twitter better than Facebook as I can be quite selective about who I let into my special circle whereas Twitter is great! Twitter FTW!
