Right, I’m going to hobble to the front gate and see if we’ve got any post. I know there’s an Avon catalogue in there so I might have a flick through that. Then I’m going to make myself comfy (which will be a bloody miracle) and get ready to watch Dr. Who & The Darleks!

I have back ache again but it because I’ve been sat on the floor at the coffee table play Age of Mythology again.

Game 1 – Affleck trounced all over me.
Game 2 – I wiped him out. Although it took me a while to find all his little gangs and new buildings.

Right, time to sit up for a bit.

Well Affleck and I have just got back from seeing Transformers.

I was suitable impressed but I do have a few issues with it.

No.1. The Glasses.
When Sam had them they were normal size, as glasses should be. When Optimus picked them they were bigger. Not hugely but big enough that it made an obvious difference.

No.2. The Motorbike Slide
Come off a motorbike at high speed and you’ll lose skin. Having worked in the medical field I know and have seen the damage done. At 30mph you’ll be down to the bone in 3 seconds. So, how can Joshua Duhamel slide his motorbike into the ground and then just glide along gracefully on his back shooting is gun. Artistic license will only go so far Mr. Bay.

No.3. Continuity
This is something that quite often pisses me off in films. When you make a blockbuster it doesn’t take a lot to employ a continuity editor. Doughnuts & Landlines to name but two!

There was something else that bugged but I can’t think what it was now.

Picked up a Chinese on the way. Affleck wasn’t too impressed but I thought he was okay.

Right. Off to kick some ass in Age of Mythology.
